Hideki Suzuki is a startup incubation specialist and founder serving as CEO at TSUCREA Co., Ltd., a Tokyo company working in startup support services, incubation, accelerator program development, business production and founding-stage investment. After working at a trading company and a consulting firm, Hideki joined a startup support facility in Osaka in 2002 and has worked in incubation since. Hideki joined Technology Seed Incubation (TSI) in 2006, became a director there in 2009, and established TSUCREA in 2015. Hideki has been responsible for running more than 25 startup support facilities, has worked on fund management and investment, and has started and managed several ventures, including university spin-outs. Hideki brings an incubator-operator and founder perspective on early-stage company building, startup support programs, creative and content businesses, and founding-stage funding. The role provides direct exposure to how new founders move from an idea to a running company and what support they need along the way. Hideki is particularly relevant to conversations around incubation and accelerator design, starting a company in Japan, content and creative-industry startups, and preparing early-stage founders for investors.
